“ It was in a church in the Champagne district on april 1999. There Nathalie Nicaud did me the honor of performing one of the rare masses, composed by Thomas Bloch at the end of the twentieth century. Her dazzling presence also revealed her multiple talents – both coloratura and lyric soprano – able to sing the works of young composers (such as Eric Lebrun, Christophe Back and Tony Bruneau) to face technical difficulties.

All with style, consistency and a shimmering fluent style her high register spinning out, her middle one blossoming.

The prizes she has won (at the Léopold Bullen International Competition, the UFAM Competition of Paris, the Operetta Competition of Orange, and the Golden Voice Competition at Montpellier : 1st price unanimously with congratulations of the jury), as well as the teachers whom she has worked whith (masterclasses of Térésa Zylis-Gara, Jeanine Reiss, and Peggy Bouveret, professor at the CNSM in Paris) speak volumes for this voice, full of colour and nuance, which reveals an exceptional talent and a sure instinct, as well as an astonishing ability to adapt to all kinds of repertoire.
Nathalie Nicaud trained at the National Conservatoire at Montepellier under the late Jean Angot, where she was rewarded by prizes, all awarded unanimously with the mention Excellent, and she has subsequently been encouraged by Maestro Pinchas Steinberg (Musical Director of the National Opera of Paris) ; she gives herself to music with passion and emotion.”

Now, Nathalie Nicaud is being coached by Roland Mancini to work her various parts.

Singing in 15 languages, she occurs in the biggest cathedrals, but also on scenes prestigious as in Fes, Rome, Seville, Amsterdam, Jerusalem, Saint-Petersburg, Moscow, Alicante or the Palace from Hassan II to Casablanca . Lyric ambassadress of the city of Montpelier , Nathalie Nicaud sang, beside Roberto Alagna, the role of the Angel in "The Juggler of Notre-Dame" and that of the Fairy in "Cinderella", works of Massenet, in the Opera of this city in 2007. She also sings for the benefit of the French Association of the Disease of BEHCET (www.association-behcet.org). Accompanied in the organ by Marie-Ange Leurent, she recorded a disk "Notre-Dame" who redraws music five centuries mariale.
